Frequently Asked Questions

We have tried to find women speakers but nobody is available, what should we do?

Organising your conference with plenty of lead time is the best way to ensure good representation on your panel. If you are caught in a jam, reach out to us! We have plenty more industry contacts and would be happy to recommend further talented women beyond those listed above.

If a woman drops out and we end up with a men-only panel, what can we do?

Aim for equal representation when organising your event. This way if one woman drops out, you’ll still have more women on your panel. Also, there are many brilliant women listed above – find someone to take their place.

For more info, the Gendered Conference Campaign has some great advice for conference organisers.
